Citizens of the designated countries will be impacted if they are:

Therefore, nationals of the designated countries who hold valid visas as of June 9, 2025, may still use those visas to enter the US despite the travel ban/restrictions.

We understand the uncertainty and concern this announcement may be causing. We will continue to closely monitor the implementation of these bans and will provide further updates as information becomes available.

We also recommend international members of the Duke community revisit the guidance issued on April 18 regarding considerations for international travel.
