J-1 Essentials

An overview of the J-1 process inviting international visitors to perform research at Duke University.

The course is intended for Duke administrators working with hiring supervisors to invite students and researchers to Duke.  The course will cover the role of the department, the Visa Services office, and the J-1 exchange visitor.  The requirements for the status various J-1 categories will also be discussed.
